About this event
The London Marathon is one of the most famous marathons in the world, one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, and a must-do bucket list item for any British marathon runner.
The closed-road route will be lined with spectators cheering you on, and will take you through the heart of the capital all the way to the finish line in St James Park. From there, it’ll be a short walk to our post-race reception with free massages and a buffet.
When you take on the London Marathon for Parkinson's UK, you’ll be fundraising to support vital services for the Parkinson's community and groundbreaking research.
Our applications will close in mid July and charity places will be allocated in August.

In 2027, join our team for the TCS London Marathon and help us achieve our fundraising target of:
£350,000
£195 could fund a day's work for a research assistant preparing samples of brain tissue, helping find clues to the causes of Parkinson’s.
£500 could fund the equipment and local pitch hire to set up a walking football group, supporting people with Parkinson's to get active.
£2,250 could fund two weeks of work for a speech and language therapist, helping people living with Parkinson’s gain confidence in being heard and understood.
