About this event

Take on the Edinburgh Marathon for Parkinson's UK and make a real difference while running one of the world's most iconic marathons.

On race day, our amazing cheerpoint volunteers will boost you along the course. And after you cross the finish line, you’ll be welcomed into our post-race reception for a free massage and snacks to help celebrate your incredible achievement.

Join our team in 2027 for the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and help us achieve our fundraising target of:

£122,000

£195 could fund a research assistant for a day to prepare brain tissue samples and uncover clues about the causes of Parkinson’s.

£500 could fund the equipment and local pitch hire to set up a walking football group, supporting people to get active.

£2,250 could fund 2 weeks of work for a speech and language therapist, helping people living with Parkinson’s gain confidence in being heard and understood.
