Day 11

Saturday 18th Oct
Today I went to help Lesley, the woman behind my inspiration for doing Walkies for Parkinson's. It was so nice to see her again after not seeing her for two weeks.
I was meant to walk Judy and Loui afterwards, but the owner cancelled.

Day 11 = 0 miles

Day 10

Thursday 16th Oct
Day 10 = 4.15 miles 🐾

I had to finish work early because I'm still not well, even though i though I was getting better.
Anyways, I started the day picking up Woody to take him to the dog park. It was so nice to see him again after not seeing him for two weeks . We had a lot of fun!

Next, I saw sweet Albie. We had a lovely walk a long a river for a bit.

Lastly, I saw Judy and Loui where the owner came with us again! ☺️ We walked the whole walk! Judy has done amazing the last three days. No laying down, no refusing to move. And she does normally do it with her owner too. I will be walking her on my own tomorrow, let's see what she does, haha!
Little Loui has been enjoying going the whole way round, he usually has a shorter walk, but when we're all together, he acts strange and very nutty. Hahaha!

Day 9

Wednesday 15th Oct
Todays marvellous doggies were:

🐾 Gorgeous Milly. Milly's last walk of the week. She such a gorgeous girl. I'll see her next week!
🐾 Handsome Albie. It was really nice to see Albie again. Tomorrow is our last day together until next time.
🐾 Sweet Judy & Loui. Their owner came out with us again for a bit of exercise and fresh air. Just as yesterday, we walked the the whole way round! Judy was a star!
🐾 Beautiful Luna. Pip still can't go out so it was a house visit at first, then I took Luna outside for a half hour walk.
🐾 Marvellous Dory. It was so nice to see Dory again after 3 weeks of not seeing her!
The sun even showed an appearance for us which was nice!

Day 9 = 8.14 miles! 🐾

Day 8

Tuesday 14th Oct
Today was the last day with Cooper and Erma :( I've been walking them twice a day for a week, I have absolutely love seeing them daily!

I went to see Judy and Loui. This morning Judy had a full breakfast. She had kibble with tuna! That was so nice to hear! The owner wanted to come on our walk, which is alway nice, so Judy, Loui and I headed out of the door. Judy did her usual walk around the block!!  No refusing to move and no laying down. Little sod! It was so nice to see!

Day 8 = 6.64 miles 🐾

Day 7

Monday 13th Oct
Thankfully I'm feeling a bit better today 🙏

Today's beautiful doggies were:

🐾 Albie
🐾 Cooper and Erma (twice)
🐾 Milly

Tomorrow I have the same but with Judy and Loui added. Hopefully Judy will be feeling better too ♥️

After adding my walking activities, the total was 5.49 miles!

Day 6

Sunday 12th Oct
Sunday the 12th October, day 6.

Today I'm still ill with a cold. I don't usually work weekends, especially a Sunday. But today, I had the lovely Cooper and Erma to walk again, twice. And the gorgeous Blue and Daphne 🥰. I feel I need to rest properly, haha! No rest for wicked. I'll be back out tomorrow walking my beautiful clients 🥰.

Day 6 walking activities = 4.27 miles
Total for the week = 32.02 miles !
Total donations for this week = £275!!

Thank you so much!!! 💙

Day 5

Sunday 12th Oct
Saturday 11th October.
Poor Judy isn't feeling well. She’s hasn't been eating her meals for the last few days, which includes chicken breast, but she seem okay in herself. She went to the vets on Friday evening.
She got to the corner of her street, turned around and laid down. She definitely didn't want to go so I took her back home.  We did 0.10 miles, haha!

Day 5 = 3.4 miles 🐾

Day 4

Saturday 11th Oct
Still full of a cold, but I loved seeing the doggies 🤗

Day 4 = 3.26 miles 💙

Day 3

Friday 10th Oct
I won't get many miles in whilst with Judy 🤣. She walked less then she did on Tuesday! 0.33 miles 😆

Day 3 of Walkies for Parkinson's with a stinking cold and feeling rough 🤧 = 4.92 miles

Day 3. I've reached my £200 target!! 🥳 Thank you all so much!!                      ♥️💙♥️💙♥️

Day 2

Thursday 9th Oct
Day 2 of Walkies for Parkinson’s 🐾

Well, this sucks! I’ve come down with an illness and a sore throat. I'm absolutely gutted to be feeling like this, especially after just getting back from holiday 😒

Still, I managed to get out there today and walk the lovely duo, Cooper and Erma, not once but twice! Constantly getting tangled in their double lead, hahaha! I also got to see beautiful Milly 🤗 and the ever so happy Olive. I haven’t seen Olive since our time on the pumpkin field, and it was such a joy to see her again! Honestly, I wish I’d recorded her reaction when I opened the door pure happiness! 😂

Day 2 = 4.7 miles 🐾

Day 1

Tuesday 7th Oct
A busier week ahead for me.
Today was my first day back with my gorgeous clients after my holiday, and it felt so good to see all their happy faces again!

First up was Judy the St Bernard. she’s as stubborn as ever and refused to walk (you’ll see what I mean in the day 1 photo). Then I took little Loui the Bulldog, who lives with Judy, out for his stroll.

Next were Cooper and Erma, the lovely Labs, who I’ll be seeing twice a day for a week. After that came sweet Milly the Cavachon, followed by Marvellous Milo the Border Collie.

It was so nice to see Blue (miniature pinscher) and Daphne ( Romanian rescue) again! I was able to squeeze them into my diary when the owner asked if I could walk them.

Luna and Pip, the two crazy Spaniels, were next. Poor Pip has hurt his leg, so I sat with them both for a bit before taking Luna for a half hour walk.

After seeing Cooper and Erma again, I rounded off the day by helping Parker’s owners and giving a free walk, and now I’m off to recharge 😂

Day one = I've added up my walking activities and I've completed 11.47 Miles walking dogs 🐾 This isn't a normal day for me. This is probably the longest I've walked in one day walking dogs 🥰

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Monday 6th Oct
I have a very special lady who had been in my life for 8 or 9 years now. Lesley was diagnosed with Parkinsons 22 years ago, it's a cruel disease that nobody deserves to get. I'm very blessed to have this special lady in my life. I love her dearly, love to help her and love to help her amazing husband Bob.

Two years ago, my partners mum and I walked 10.4 miles in 5 hrs and 48 minutes raising £375

I have a new career now. It's the best job in the world, dog walking! This is the perfect opportunity for me to raise more funds for this amazing charity. Please give if you can, no matter how small. I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you! 🐾

Thank you to my sponsors
