Why I am running London Marathon for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK on Saturday 24 April and would really appreciate your support!
I’m running the London Marathon to take on one of the biggest challenges of my life while raising money and awareness for Parkinson’s UK in support of my grandad. Parkinson’s has had a personal impact on my family, and I want to use this opportunity to support the amazing work Parkinson’s UK does in helping people living with Parkinson’s, supporting families, and funding vital research into better treatments and a cure. The training and 26.2 miles on race day will push me physically and mentally, but knowing I’m running for my grandad will give me the motivation to keep going through every difficult moment. I hope to make him proud and help make a difference for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
