Brighton Marathon 2026

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Brighton Marathon 2026 for Parkinson's UK! I'll be running the Brighton Marathon in April 2026 as part of Team Parkinson's to help us all reach a future without Parkinson's.

Please help me by sponsoring whatever you can towards my target. All money raised will go directly to funding Parkinson's UK.

About Parkinson's UK

We’re close to major breakthroughs. Funding the right research into the most promising treatments, we get closer to a cure every day.

Until then, we're here for everyone affected by Parkinson’s. Fighting for fair treatment and better services.

People with Parkinson’s, scientists and supporters, fundraisers and families, carers and clinicians, all working side by side. Impatient for change, we’re taking a stand, speaking out, chipping in, and playing our part.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, including the generous donation noted from David Smith - which is actually from the very kind people of All Souls Church!

I've now finished the last of my long runs, only a piddly 10 miles left for this weekend.

Your support has been amazing, hopefully I fulfill my promise a week Sunday, and we raise a bit more!

Less than two weeks to go!

Why I'm running

Friday 6th Feb
My uncle is a man of incredible strength, but since his diagnosis, we’ve seen firsthand the daily challenges that Parkinson’s brings. Since then my cousin has also received a diagnosis, which brings a different perspective to this relentless condition - yet our family hasn't had to face this alone.
As well receiving help from our amazing friends, Parkinson’s UK have been an absolute lifeline for us, offering everything from expert medical advice via their helpline to the emotional support found in their local community groups. They didn't just provide information; they gave us clarity, confidence, and hope when we felt most overwhelmed.

I am raising money to ensure that no one has to face Parkinson’s without a support system.

Every donation helps fund:

Groundbreaking Research, speeding up the search for a cure.
Specialist Nurses, providing expert care in local communities.
Free Support Services, ensuring families like mine always have someone to turn to.

Your support means the world to my family. Thank you for helping us fight back.

The best athlete's visualise themselves running the course, preparing their bodies and minds for the big event. Now I want you to forget that nonsense and visualise that cool pint waiting at the bar and being able to reclaim your evenings and weekends - that's motivation! Well done mate, it's for a great cause!!
