Signed up to Walk for Parkinsons
Thursday 2nd Jul Hi All, I have signed up for this year's Walk for Parkinsons. Most of you will know that I was diagnosed with Parkinsons 3 and a half years ago but you may not know that my late Grandma had it and my lovely Auntie Sandra's also has it.Ā I am hoping by taking part in this walk I am raising awareness as well as funds and hopefully we will one day find a cure! As you know I've been living with your Aunty Sandra with this life changing disease for many years now and am aware how it affects her daily living. Her recent Deep Brain Stimulation surgery hopefully will help with her Parkinsons condition as well as her neck Dystonia. Further research into developing a cure for this disease can only happen with people like yourself participating in events like this to raise vital funds for the Charity. Well done !!!
