Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the TCS 2026 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support! Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition which causes problems in the brain and worsens over time.
In September 2024, my amazing mum, at aged 60, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Every day she lives with many symptoms which will continue to progress as time goes on. My mum regularly sees a Parkinson’s nurse who supports, advises and reassures her when she needs it most. This is the reason I am running and raising money for Parkinson’s UK as I have seen the difference they make to people living with Parkinson’s.
Please help by sponsoring me with whatever you can. The money raised will help fund groundbreaking research and change the lives of the Parkinson's community.
