Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Sadly, last year, we said goodbye to an amazing lady, my Nanna, Margaret. Nanna fought this dreadful disease for so many years, always with a smile on her face.

In conjunction with this, following an accident in the summer of 2024, I underwent surgery on my leg, and I set myself a goal to be fitter than I was before and not let the setback hinder my ability to do events like this. 

This run is not only a tribute to myself but also to raise money for an amazing charity which will help many others, like my Nanna, get the support they need to help with their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
