Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

My Grandad Bill was an awesome Grandad. He always asked whether I’d be taking my ugly pills that morning, with a joking smile on his face. He spent the majorly of his adult life in the Royal Navy and was the inspiration for my journey into the military. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the latter year's of his life and sadly passed away whilst I was in basic training for the British Army. It was an honour to wear his medals at the funeral. Anything I can do to raise money to assist those living with the disease and their families, is definitely worth it!
