Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Manchester Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
I started my running journey in 2022 completing a jingle 5km run at christmas with a charity based womens group. From there my running has advanced and I have completed multiple evnts including 10km, half-marathon and my first marathon with Parkinson's UK.
Parkinson's UK is a charity close to mine and my family's hearts after my nan was diagnosed with Parkinson's. The highs and lows of life after the diagnosis shows just how important it is for a charity like this to have funding and support. We are lucky to have a strong close unit family however not everyone does.
I feel very priviledged to be able to raise money and support a charity that impacts so many people.
