I'm running a marathon!
On Sunday the 25th of April I will be running the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK in memory of my Grandad Colin Scott who passed away in April.
My Grandad suffered with Parkinson’s for many years before his death, and as a result of the disease I saw him deteriorate substantially over the years. He was an incredibly bright, talented and loving man. He had a long career at sea, rising up the ranks to become a Captain, as well as that he was an artist, and most importantly a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather.
I’m running for Parkinson’s UK because of the work they do campaigning for better health and care, funding research, running life-changing support services and of course working to find a cure for Parkinson’s.
If you are able to donate any amount big or small, it would mean a lot to me and my family and would be going towards vital work to improve the lives of all those living with Parkinson’s.
