I'm fundraising for Parkinson's UK in memory of my grandpa!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK. 

Over the years I have really come to enjoy running, a few races down and one half marathon under my belt it's about time I did a race for charity. It was immediately obvious to me which charity I would support.

My grandpa suffered with parkinson's disease for many years before the end of his life about 10 years ago. His condition left a mark in my memory which I will never forget. It began to take hold during my teenage years, making it hard to connect with him as I grew up. Despite all this, he was an extremely easy-going and knowledgable man with a strong spirit.

Now we're in it for Hector!
