Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the TCS 2025 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
I am running the London Marathon in memory of my beloved mum who sadly passed away recently. My mum lived with Parkinson’s Disease for over 20 years and I am so proud of her as she coped so well with it. She very much valued the support and companionship she gained from our local Parkinson’s group.
Running the London Marathon has been a lifelong desire yet I have always been to scared to do this. My mum passed away on the day of the London Marathon 2024. This has made believe the time is right to do this. I will find the run a challenge yet also emotional as I run in memory of mum.
