Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m running the Bath and Bristol Half marathon this year for a cause very close to me and my family. In later year my grandad lived with Parkinson’s Disease, and now, diagnosed end of 2024, my wonderful dad is facing the same progressive condition. Seeing the impact so closely, has shown me how relentless and life-changing Parkinson’s is and can be, not only for those diagnosed, but for the people who love them.
I’m fundraising for Parkinson’s UK to help ensure better care, more research, and ultimately a future where Parkinson’s is better understood and supported. Any donation, big or small, means more support, more understanding, and more hope. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity, it means a lot.
