Why I’m running for Parkinson’s UK
Monday 14th JulThank you so much for visiting my page.
I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 in memory of my wonderful Grandad Alan, who we sadly lost in 2018.
He was kind, funny, and fiercely loved. He could make, do, and mend anything, and I’ve never known anyone to work as hard as he did.
Watching someone you love slowly lose parts of themselves to Parkinson’s is devastating. Parkinsons took away his independence, and the active life he’d always known.
This run is for him, and for the thousands of people living with Parkinson’s today. Every donation will help fund vital research and provide better support for families affected by the condition.
If you’re able to sponsor me, no matter the amount, it would mean so much.
Thank you 💙
