After crossing the finish line at the Great North Run 2025, Sophie swore she'd never run anywhere ever again - not even for the bus. Surprising literally nobody, she immediately signed up for the 2026 race and somehow convinced (forced) Jack to do so to.
We've chosen to run on behalf of Parkinson's UK in memory of Sophie's Dad, Jim, who sadly lost his very short battle with the disease on 22nd January 2025. We were blown away by everyone's support when Sophie managed to raise almost £1300 for the charity last year, so we hope to continue raising as much as we can for them as their resources and support are invaluable to any family faced with the challenge of Parkinson's.
