Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I will be running the London Landmarks half marathon in April to raise money for a charity which means a lot to me and my family, as both of my grandparents unfortunately suffer with Parkinson's
Around 166,000 people in the UK live with Parkinson’s disease in the UK and it is on the rise, with someone being diagnosed every 20 minutes. At this current rate, by 2050, the number of people with Parkinson's will double to 25 million
Parkinson's UK is the UK's leading charity dedicated to improving life for people affected by Parkinson’s. They fund vital research to find better treatments and ultimately a cure, provide support and information to people living with the condition and their families, and campaign for better health and social care
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! By supporting my run, you’ll be helping to fund life-changing research and ensure that people affected by Parkinson’s don’t have to face it alone. Thank you so much for your support!
