Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK on Saturday 24 April and would really appreciate your support!
I am taking on this marathon for my dad, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2023 and later with Parkinson’s dementia in 2025.
Watching someone you love face the challenges of Parkinson’s is incredibly difficult, and I have seen first-hand the impact this condition can have, not just on the person diagnosed, but on their family and everyone around them.
I am running this marathon to raise awareness and vital funds for Parkinson’s UK, helping to support people and families affected by Parkinson’s, while funding research that brings us closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.
Every mile I run will be dedicated to my dad and to everyone affected by Parkinson’s. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference and help Parkinson’s UK continue their important work.
Thank you for supporting me on this journey, it means more than you know.
