In April, I’ll be running my first ever marathon in the city where I was born, Manchester!
This event is extra special to me because I’m running in support of Parkinson’s UK, a charity that is incredibly close to my heart.
I’m running for Parkinson’s UK because my mum was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in February 2023. Being able to take on this challenge with her in mind makes it even more meaningful.
While there is currently no cure for Parkinson's, Parkinson’s UK is working tirelessly to fund cutting-edge research into the most promising treatments. Their efforts bring hope to those affected by the condition, and your support will help make a real difference.
