Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

My wife Jenny was diagnosed about 8 years ago, and since then we have made lots of friends through the various exercise classes we all do, which help to slow the progress of Parkinsons.

This year we are walking again to raise money to help fund and train Nurses and Specialists who will hopefully help people living with Parkinsons and eventually help to find a real cure for this disease which is affectin more and more people worldwide

Walk for Parkinsons 2026

Most of you know my wife Jenny, she was diagnosed with Parkinsons about 8 years ago. We have madea lot of friends in this community through shared exercise classes and fundraising events, so, as we did last year I and the rest of 'us' are walking again to raise Money to help fund/train Nurses, and Specialists. With these resources, we hopefully can help make the problems of people living with Parkinsons better, and eventually, to hopefully find a cure for the future benefit of all.
