Walk for Parkinson's: Sunderland 2025

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

My updates

Unbelievable support

Sunday 18th May
So I’ve managed to raise £250 so far so I’m raising the fundraising target to £400 to continue the wonderful support I have been given. Thank you to those who have given and I a thank you to those who donate in the future for this wonderful cause x

Amazing!

Thursday 15th May
So I’ve upped my donation total because of the amazing family and friends who have helped me get my original total of £100 so now we are going for £250. Keep it going!!

Why I’m doing this walk

Wednesday 14th May
So I’ve just signed up with the help of my 11 year old son to undertake the 4.8 mile Parkinson’s walk in Sunderland in September to raise money for this amazing charity in support of my brother who is 48 years old and has Parkinson’s (diagnosed for past 4 years). Parkinson’s doesn’t have a cure but what we can do is raise money to support research

Thank you to my sponsors
