Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK...

My dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2019 at just 61 years old. He had recently retired and was looking forward to travelling the world and spending more time with his family. Parkinson's has taken that away from him and from us.
Watching my dad go through this has been an emotional rollercoaster. He is the bravest and most inspiring man I know. In his honour, I will be running the London Marathon for Parkinson's UK on Sunday 25 April 2027, and I would be incredibly grateful for your support.
As his youngest daughter, I've seen first-hand the impact Parkinson's has had on our family and so many others, which is why taking on this challenge means so much to me. I've watched wonderful colleagues run the London Marathon in support of causes close to their hearts, and they gave me the courage to be brave and do the same. Now, I'm training hard for race day and hoping to make every mile count for families affected by Parkinson's.
Our goal is to raise £2,300 before race day, and every single penny will go towards this incredible charity, helping families like mine who are affected by this disease.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and supporting me on this journey. It's going to be a wild one!
