Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I'm taking part in Pedal Wye Valley for Parkinson’s UK on 20 September and would appreciate your support! 82 miles through the Wye valley, with over 2000 metres of elevation
As most are already aware, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in late 2023. Parkinson’s is a neurological condition which carries a multitude of symptoms including loss of strength, coordination and mobility, speech issues, heightened anxiety, memory problems and debilitating cramps in joints to name a few. There is no cure, and the condition is progressive. Currently, the best treatment to slow the progression is exercise.
