Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m walking for Nev and all fellow Parkinson's sufferers. This disease cruelly eats away a person's ability to enjoy life to the full - problems with sleep, pain, mobility and speech come to the fore and make daily living tasks increasingly difficult.
There is a huge shortfall in Parkinson's specialist consultants, nurses and care in general. Nev hasn't seen a specialist for more than a year and so I hope by raising some money things will change and all the sufferers will receive the care and support they need and deserve.
