Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! On 12th April 2026 I’ll be taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Parkinson’s Uk in memory of my father who suffered with this horrible disease in the later years of his life. The photo I’ve shared is how I like to remember my wonderful, proud and intelligent dad, before I had to watch his decline to the point where he could no longer do anything for himself. It was heartbreaking.

London Landmarks Half done!
Sunday 12th AprEarlier today I completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon running for Parkinson’s uk. Today was not about getting a personal best, today was not about pace or about me….. it was about my dad and about anyone else affected by Parkinson’s disease. Thinking of my dad helped with every step I took and it was a very emotional day but was THE most amazing experience. I was blown away with the amount of runners and I don’t think there was one part of the route which wasn’t lined with supporters.
From today’s race alone over £88,000 was raised for Parkinson’s uk. Due to your kindness and generosity I myself have raised over £1000 for the cause, so from me and on behalf of Parkinson’s Uk, a massive thank you! Over 800 different charities were represented today which was just incredible.

Saturday 4th Apr Yesterday I did my last long training run before the race which is next Sunday. I can’t believe how quickly it has come round!

Saturday 7th Mar In just 5 weeks I’ll be preparing for the start of the London Landmarks Half Marathon, running for Parkinson’s Uk in memory of my father and all others who suffer with this cruel disease.
