Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Back when I was in my first year of uni my mum got diagnosed with Parkinson’s. She is without a doubt the most strong, caring and inspirational person I know. She refuses to let her illness define her, she’s a black belt in Judo and still goes to training every single week, even 10 years into her diagnosis. She signs up to every possible trial she can, participates in all the research groups and studies that are available and it will be an honour to raise funds towards these valuable projects.
