My target 60 miles
Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
This October I am going to try my hardest to achieve walking 60 miles to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK.
Parkinson’s is a disease that affects my Dad and many others on a daily basis. There currently is no cure, only ways to manage the symptoms.
I will prioritise time to enjoy lots of lovely walks after work and on the weekends, and hopefully Dad will get some steps in with me too, but my dog Lulu will most definitely be my constant sidekick! 🐾
Funding research into the most promising treatments means they will hopefully one day be closer to a cure. Until then, Parkinson’s UK and many other charities are supporting people with Parkinson’s to help improve their life, and the people who love and care for them. I am happy to be taking part in this challenge to not only support this amazing charity, but also my amazing Dad who is my inspiration. I will be so grateful for your support also 💙
