I will be running the Manchester Marathon in April 2027 for Parkinson’s UK🏃🏼‍♀️💙 Any donations would be greatly appreciated!!

💙Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological condition that gradually damages the cells in the brain that produce dopamine, responsible for controlling movement. There is currently no cure but treatments such as medication and physiotherapy/ occupational therapy can help manage symptoms and maintain independence.

💙Parkinson’s UK is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s. They fund vital research into better treatments and support specialist services, while also providing support to people with Parkinson’s and their families.

💙This marathon is going to be a huge challenge, but having my grandad Dave at the heart of why I’m running makes it worth it. His strength, kindness and the way he has always supported me have shown me what it means to keep going, even when things get difficult. Every mile of this marathon will be for him and everything he means to me. He is one of my biggest inspirations and a huge part of why I became a physiotherapist👩‍⚕️
