Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Growing up, I’ve seen firsthand how tough Parkinson’s disease can be. My dad has been battling it since I was just seven years old, and it’s shaped a lot of who I am today. Watching someone you love face something like that isn’t easy, but it’s also made me more determined to make a difference. That’s why I’m running this marathon—not just as a personal challenge, but to raise awareness and give back. Parkinson’s is a cruel disease that affects so many families, and I want to do my part to shine a light on it and support the people who are fighting it every day.
