Great North Run 2026

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.

Please help by sponsoring my challenge. All money raised will help fund breakthroughs and help support the Parkinson's community.

Why Parkinson's UK?

Friday 26th Jun
I have family experience of Parkinson's - my grandfather lived that last years of his life increasingly affected by the progressive condition. After he died, we did not expect my grandmother to be diagnosed with a more aggressive form of Parkinson's.

Around 166,000 people live with Parkinson’s in the UK. By 2050, the number of people with Parkinson’s worldwide will double to 25 million. Research and support is increasingly important.

I ran the GNR for Parkinson's UK as a very fit 18-year old and now return as an barely fit 31-year old who has to force himself to leave the house for a 5k jog. I am taking this on as a genuine challenge to try and complete the run within 2 hours and raise some money for a good cause.

Thank you to my sponsors
