Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 7 September 2025 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
My father in law David was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in his 30s. This cruel disease took so much from him over the years. But he was brave and he fought it every single day without complaining. Devastatingly and very suddenly David died on October 6th 2024 at the age of 65. He was robbed of so many things, of growing old, getting to watch his son and his two grand children grow up.
Please help by sponsoring me whatever you can. All the money raised will go to Parkinson’s UK nurses, to provide much-needed advice, support and information for people who are living with the condition.
