Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for Parkinson’s UK on behalf of my dad who has been living with Parkinson’s for 16 years, as well as the countless other people who live with this cruel and debilitating condition.

About Parkinson’s UK
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition, people with Parkinson's don't have enough of the chemical dopamine in their brain because some of the nerve cells that make it have stopped working.
Around 166,000 people live with Parkinson’s in the UK. Parkinson's is on the rise. In the UK today, someone is diagnosed every 20 minutes.
By 2050, the number of people with Parkinson’s worldwide will double to 25 million.
