TCS London Marathon 2026

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I have finally been accepted to do the London Marathon and I couldn’t imagine running for any other reason. I am running for Parkinson’s Uk a charity extremely close to home.

For 18 years I have watched my mum live with Parkinson’s disease - It takes a lot of strength, frustration and quiet courage so many people never see.

This marathon isn’t just 26.2 miles for me. It’s for my mum and my family, the resilience we have built, the daily courage she endures, the uncertainty’s for now and the future.

I am running to help raise money for better treatments, support and more research.

I am humbled by this whole experience and will forever preach to not take your health for granted. Training for this marathon is hard work but I know it is nothing compared to the strength my mum has shown me.

Any small donation will be highly appreciated and not unnoticed.
