Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
My husband James was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s Disease when he was 44. The children were 2 and 4 years old.
It was a huge shock and there were many unknowns. There still are, however, like many others, we are learning to adapt to the card we have been dealt and focusing on all that is positive and joyful in our lives. We are always hopeful for advancements in treatments and finding a cure.
I’m taking part in Walk for Parkinson’s 100 Mile Challenge for my family, and the countless others who are impacted by this disease.
I am looking forward to uniting with thousands of others who are equally passionate about funding specialist care and improving life for people with Parkinson’s.
