Great North Run 2026

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.

This year, I’m taking on the Great North Run in support of Parkinson’s UK — a cause that means a great deal to me. And I won’t be doing it alone. My son, Reuben, will be running the Junior Great North Run the day before, kicking off our fundraising weekend.

We’re turning this into a father‑and‑son challenge: two days, two races, one goal — to raise vital funds that help improve the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s and support the research that brings us closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.

Please help by sponsoring my challenge. All money raised will help fund breakthroughs and help support the Parkinson's community.

Any donation, big or small, genuinely makes a difference. Thank you for supporting us and cheering us on.
