Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Hi, I’m Phillipa, and I’m raising money to support people living with Parkinson's disease.
Two years ago, my father-in-law was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Since then, our family has seen first-hand the daily challenges that come with this condition, as well as the strength and resilience it takes to live with it.
Parkinson’s affects movement, balance and everyday tasks that most of us take for granted. But it also affects families, carers and loved ones who support someone through the journey.
I’m raising money to support vital research and services that help people living with Parkinson’s today, while also working towards better treatments — and ultimately a cure — for the future. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps fund research, support networks and resources for those affected.
Thank you for supporting this cause and helping make a difference for families like ours.
