Hi everyone!
Wednesday 26th Aug My father in law Joe was diagnosed with Parkinson’s a number of years ago in May 2022 aged 73. He was a mechanic by trade and worked his entire life doing physical tasks with a love of machinery. He developed a tremor that worsened until he finally got a diagnosis. We are very lucky that he lives a relatively healthy life and doesn’t let Parkinson’s stop him from doing the things he loves like working on his vintage tractors or caring for his 4 grandchildren. We are aware that this always won’t be the case and that we are extremely lucky that it hasn’t affected him in other debilitating ways so far. I want to raise awareness that Parkinson’s is a condition that still allows its sufferers to enjoy the most from their life and live it in a way they did prior to their diagnosis as well as to raise vital funds for research and support for those families that aren’t as lucky as we have been .we are very lucky that Joe has such good quality of life and hopes that remains the case forever.
