Sunday 25th Jan My mum was a wonderful person and we had so many happy times as you can see in my profile pictureUnfortunately she lost her 20 year battle with Parkinson’s in 2024.
Parkinson nurses are funded purely through donations so heavily rely on events like the GNR,.
The nurses are fantastic they care for your loved ones until the end along with this they support the family through the final journey of their loved ones, I will never forget what they did for my family.
My Mum loved the Great North Run and completed it many times, she was in training when Parkinson’s stopped her taking control of her brain she could not run no more.
