Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great Manchester Run 10K for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support! 

As you know I'm certainly no runner, but before I completely fall apart I want to push myself and also raise money for this fantastic charity. 

Having watched my wonderful Mum battle with Parkinson's for the last 16 years and seeing how it can devastate a life, I want to help fund further research and care for those who suffer with the dreaded 'P'.

Please help by sponsoring my 10km challenge. All money raised will help fund breakthroughs and help support the Parkinson's community.

Saturday 26th Apr
Three weeks to go and having a final push to ask for a few more pennies to support Parkinson's UK.
Training has been an interesting journey of illness, injury, canal paths, treadmills and middle-aged dilemmas 🤣.
Looking forward to the challenge of the run and being involved in such a great event.

Parkrun number 1

Saturday 21st Sep
To start the training journey I did a 5km Parkrun in Worsley Woods this morning.
Did ok, no injuries and inspired me to push on for the GM 10km.
