Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Dawn passed away on the 7th May 2024. She was a mother, grandmother, auntie, sister, niece, cousin and friends to countless people across Europe. She made many happy memories for both relatives and friends, but she should have made many more. Dawn was 61 when she passed away due to Parkinson's.
Your mum, son or friend. Anyone can get Parkinson’s, young or old. Every hour, two more people are diagnosed.
There are over 40 symptoms. Tremor. Pain. Anxiety. Everyone’s experience is different. And there’s no cure. Yet.
That’s why I’m fundraising for Parkinson’s UK. With your help we can fund better care, drive research breakthroughs and one day find a cure.
I have registered for the London 10k run which will take place on the 14th July 2024 and would appreciate your support.
We are the Parkinson’s community. We can shape Parkinson’s research. We can transform lives. Together we can find a cure.
