Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

On September 13th 2026 I’ll be taking part in my first half marathon to raise vital funds for a charity close to my heart, Parkinson's UK.
Ten years ago my gorgeous grandma was sadly diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. This has completely changed her day to day life, bringing both good days and bad. Seeing the impact Parkinson’s can have on both the person suffering from the disease and those around them has made me want to do something meaningful to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s UK.
