Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Just over 3 years after running my first half marathon for my beautiful Nanny, I will be facing the challenge once again. This time, however, will be for a condition that she had for most of her later life.
Though she is no longer with us, I hope to make her proud by facing the tough physical battle that I had, of course, vowed never to do again. And by doing so, I hope to aid a charity that is doing such great work to fight this horrible disease.
(This time I promise to do more than 8 training runs before the big day, and fingers crossed for less ankle sprains 😏)
Please give anything you can 🫶
