Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m taking part in Walk for Parkinson’s 100 Mile Challenge to help fund specialist care for people with Parkinson’s.
I'm uniting with thousands of others, all passionate about improving life for people with Parkinson’s.
I am fundraising in honour of our dad who struggles with this disease everyday. Some days are good, some not so good but he still manages to put a smile on that face or have a little giggle.
Dad has been a hard working man all his life from being a fitter on huge machines to owning and running his own bus company along side our mother. As a family we have had to watch helplessly as dad’s quality of life has literally been stripped away. Our amazing mother now cares for dad full time. She is one of the strongest people I know.
In raising money for Parkinson’s no matter how little these wonderful people can continue their research to find better treatments for those unfortunate to have this devastating disease.
