Jurassic Coast Challenge 2025

Fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

I'm a PhD student researching conversational impairment in Parkinson's Disease (PD).

I've wanted to participate in the Jurassic Challenge for a long time now and have finally decided to do so this year. I'm going to cover 100km of the Jurassic coast, UNESCO World Heritage site, from Corfe Castle to Bridport with over 2,300 metres of climb in 2 days.

This challenge has presented itself as a great opportunity to fundraise for a charity whose work has deeply moved me: Parkinson's UK. Parkinson's Disease causes so many communication difficulties and can be extremely isolating. At the Parkinson's UK Edinburgh Branch, I have found a community full of kind and lovely organisers, researchers, volunteers, and attendees who contribute to great activities that enable people with PD to connect and participate in activities such as choir singing, Tai Chi, Pilates, social events and walks.

I would like to dedicate my effort towards supporting more activities at Parkinson's UK Edinburgh Branch. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
