Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Why Parkinsons?
Wednesday 13th AugParkinson’s is a cause very close to my heart and to my family’s.
My dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at just 42 years old. It’s a chronic neurological condition, and his symptoms can change from hour to hour ,no two days are ever the same.
Since his diagnosis, he has relied heavily on the incredible Parkinson’s community and on modern medication to help maintain his mobility. These treatments exist thanks to vital research funded by Parkinson’s UK.
This is why I’m fundraising: £1,000 can fund an entire week of cutting-edge research.
If I raise £3,000, that’s three weeks. My dream is to reach £4,000 a full month of research to help drive forward the breakthroughs that change lives.
Together, we can support the work that has already made such a difference to my dad, and that will give hope to so many others living with
