Why I'm running for Parkisons
This year, I decided to take on a challenge that’s deeply personal: I’m running a half marathon to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s disease.
Parkinson’s isn’t just a medical condition—it’s something that’s touched my life in a real way. 15 years ago my grandad sadly passed away from Parkinson's. Watching someone you care about face the day-to-day reality of this disease is incredibly tough. It’s a reminder of how precious our mobility, independence, and joy are.
Running a half marathon is my way of fighting back. It’s my way of showing support, raising my voice, and hopefully making a difference. Every step I take on race day is dedicated to the millions living with Parkinson’s and the people who love them.
If you feel moved to support, whether through a donation, sharing my story, or simply cheering me on, it means the world. Together, we can fund research, support patients, and work toward a future where Parkinson’s no longer steals moments from people’s lives.
