Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m taking part in the Hackney Half Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
I signed up for a half marathon in 2019 to run for Parkinson’s UK, dedicated to a very close family friend. I had to pull out of that race because I dislocated my knee, which lead to multiple subsequent injuries, meaning I haven’t been able to train for or run a half marathon since.
In my head I’ve owed our family friend, George, a half marathon for 5 years, so with the injury somewhat managed, I’m gunna finally give it a go in Hackney!
