Hackney Half Marathon 2026

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m running the Hackney Half Marathon to raise money for Parkinson’s UK.

As an NHS physiotherapist, I’ve worked with people living with Parkinson’s and seen first-hand the daily challenges it can bring — not just for patients, but for their families as well.

Now, whilst I’m currently living and working in Australia, I wanted to take on this race as a way of giving something back and supporting the vital research, treatment, and community services that make such a difference in people’s lives.

Any donation, big or small, would mean a huge amount and will help Parkinson’s UK to continue their incredible work. Thank you for your support

I’ve decided to combine all my races this year to continue raising money!

I’ll be completing the London big half and also my first marathon in Amsterdam in October with the aim of raising as much money as possible.
