Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m running the Mcr half marathon for Parkinson’s UK in memory of Dan’s lovely Uncle Alan who lived with Parkinson’s for as long as I knew him. It’s a shitty, cruel disease which Alan faced with dignity and grace.
Every penny raised will help with vital research needed to find a cure as well as supporting those living with Parkinson’s….
…not to mention much needed motivation for me to to keep running!
Obviously I’ve left fundraising til the last minute… I think I’ve been in denial how soon the run is!

Run Crumpy Run
Wednesday 30th SepI started running when my dad was ill with cancer, and ran my first half marathon last October in his memory. This year I’m running for Parkinson’s in memory of Dan’s uncle Alan, who lived with the disease throughout the time I knew him. I’d be grateful for any support to help raise fund for vital research to help others living with what is a very cruel and brutal disease… and hopefully one day find a cure! Thank you!!
