Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Hello hoomans! 🐾 It’s me, Kaiya. I’m a very good dog (if I do say so myself), and I have a very important mission coming up. My hooman and I are taking part in Walkies for Parkinson’s – and trust me, I never say no to a walk!
But this isn’t just any walk. This one is special.
During the month of October, my hooman and I will be walking 90 miles – that’s a LOT of paw-prints and footsteps – to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s.
Parkinson’s disease has touched my family, and I’ve seen how tough it can be. So, we’re putting our paws and feet together to make a difference for those living with Parkinson's and to support research that could change lives.
Every mile I trot along with my waggy tail is for something bigger than rabbit ears or treats (though those are still pretty great). It’s for families like mine who know the impact Parkinson’s can have, and for a future filled with hope.
You can help us by donating, cheering us on, or even just sharing our story. Every bit of support makes a huge difference.
So grab your leads, lace up your shoes, and come along with us (in spirit). We’ve got 90 miles of walkies to do in October, and together we can help paws-itively change lives.
Love, licks, and wags,
Kaiya 🐾 (and Tally my hooman too!)
Good luck Kaiya & Tally. Thanks for your support. XX 😘
